The Serengeti National Park is found in the North western region of Tanzania but also extends slightly to include some parts of Kenya. This park is world’s famous because of the wild beast migration in which thousands of animals including wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River into the Serengeti plains returning to cross the Mara River again during the month of April. The Serengeti comprises mixed habitats such as rivers, grasslands, and swamps. This has in turn enabled the Serengeti to sustain an innumerable species of plants and animals within its ecosystem.

Some of the animals which can easily be spotted when one visits the Serengeti National Park include zebras, wildbeests, gazelles and buffaloes as well. In addition to these animals; elephants also commonly feature here. Apart from the plant and animal life in the Serengeti, visitors will be fascinated by the beautiful scenery provided by the undulating plains.  Against a back drop of these plains, it is possible to experience great horizons during the sunset.
Within the Serengeti, there are rocky outcrops commonly referred to as Kopjes which add to the list of attractions within the Serengeti. For those seeking a thrilling adventure, a visit to the Ol Donyo Lengai-a volcanic mountain which has recorded some activity in the recent past would be a perfect destination.

Additional adventure in the Serengeti is climbing up the heights, from the low lying plains to the forested areas where one is startetigically positioned to see beautiful scenery. This location is also ideal for taking great photos which will form part of the lasting memory of the Serengeti National park.
